FANA - Gabi's Home for Three Years

Here's a short, simple video of FANA, the orphanage where Gabi spent the first three years of her life. Daniel and I took the video during our tour on Wednesday. We took it mainly to show Gabi as she gets older, but we thought some of you might like to see it also.

Concert in Colombia

Here's a video of a concert that we went to in the courtyard of our apartment complex last Sunday. Gabi has rhythm. The rest of us...not so much. At least we had a good teacher (she makes an appearance at the very end). And sorry about the sound.

Presentation Day

So sorry to keep you waiting! We have had some ups and downs with our internet connection.

Yesterday we got up, had breakfast, went to the ATM, and went to the grocery store. We came back in time for our 9:30am phone call from FANA (the orphanage). We were told that we would be picked up at 11:30. We rested, prayed and ate as we anxiously awaited the time to leave. At 11:30 our driver took us to the orphanage. At FANA we were escorted to the famous "Green Room" where we went over some paperwork and then waited for them to bring Gabriela to us.

Skype with Gabi

We were able to SKYPE with Gabi again today. She seemed extra aware, engaged, and happy.
